Last night I was delighted to take part in a wonderful live stream by Melbourne DJ Micheal Nero from Elysium , it was simply fantastic to hear so many of my favourite songs while having a dance in my room and chatting to my Discord mates.
It was a real mood lifter in these tough times where we are being asked to maintain our distance from others and stay home and I am so looking forward to the next one.
Today DJ Azy from Obscura Undead did her live stream and it was equally joyous and comforting. I for one and hoping that these DJ live streams will continue while we’re in lockdown and in desperate need for community and company.
In the meantime I was thinking of starting a hashtag #gothsathome across Twitter and Instagram in order to connect with other goths online who might feel lonely or especially isolated while everyone is self quarantining.
Stay safe dear reader, stay home and look after yourself and each other. This too shall pass.
